The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Ash & Elder Apothecary, operated by Roots Grow North, registered in Sweden.
Ash & Elder Apothecary operates this website and online store, including all related information, content, products and services in order to provide you with a thoughtful and curated shopping experience rooted in traditional herbal wisdom and natural skincare.
Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to offer our products and services to you.
By visiting our website, purchasing from us, or using any part of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), including any policies referenced herein.

SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS
Our products are handcrafted in small batches in Sweden using natural ingredients, botanical infusions and traditional herbal preparations.
Because we work with whole and minimally processed ingredients, slight variations in colour, scent, texture or consistency may naturally occur from batch to batch. These variations are part of working with living botanical materials and do not affect the quality or intended use of the product.
We do our best to display product colours and textures as accurately as possible, though appearance may vary depending on your device or screen settings.
All product descriptions and pricing are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to discontinue products or limit quantities at any time.
SECTION 3 – HERBAL & EDUCATIONAL DISCLAIMER
The information shared through our website, product descriptions, newsletters, social media channels and other content is rooted in traditional herbal knowledge and intended for educational and informational purposes only.
Our products are cosmetic products intended to support the appearance and wellbeing of the skin. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.

SECTION 4 – PATCH TEST & ALLERGY DISCLAIMER
Our products contain natural botanical ingredients, herbs, oils, butters and essential oils that may cause sensitivities or allergic reactions in some individuals.
We always recommend performing a patch test before first use.
Discontinue use immediately if irritation or discomfort occurs.
Ash & Elder Apothecary cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions, sensitivities or misuse of products.
SECTION 5 – ORDERS
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase.
Orders are accepted once payment has been received and you receive an order confirmation from us.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors or product availability issues.
Orders are typically prepared and shipped twice weekly from our apothecary in Sweden.
SECTION 6 – PRICING & PAYMENT
All prices are listed in SEK unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change without prior notice.
Applicable taxes, shipping fees and customs charges (where relevant) will be calculated at checkout.
We accept payments through the payment providers available at checkout via Shopify.
SECTION 7 – SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We currently ship within the European Union, as well as to Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Orders within Sweden are generally shipped with PostNord and usually arrive within 3–5 working days after dispatch.
Orders elsewhere in Europe are generally shipped with DHL and may take approximately 1–3 weeks after dispatch.
Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on customs processing, seasonal delays or local postal services.
All orders include tracking. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email.
If your parcel appears delayed or lost, please contact us at info@ash-elder.com and we will gladly work together with you to find a thoughtful solution.
Ash & Elder Apothecary is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs processing or events outside our control.
SECTION 8 – RETURNS & REFUNDS
Unopened and unused products may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Please include a note with your order number and reason for return, and email your tracking number to info@ash-elder.com once the parcel has been sent.

For hygiene and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns on opened or used products.
That said, your experience matters deeply to us. If something arrives damaged, incorrect or simply does not feel right for your skin, please reach out. We are always happy to think along with you and find a fair and thoughtful solution.
Refunds are processed once the returned products have arrived and been inspected.
SECTION 9 – STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
Our products are made with natural ingredients and are best stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
Because we avoid unnecessary synthetic stabilisers wherever possible, texture and consistency may naturally shift with temperature changes.
For best quality, we recommend using products within 6–12 months after opening, depending on the product type.
Always use clean and dry hands when handling products to preserve freshness.
SECTION 10 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website, including text, imagery, branding, product names, graphics and design elements, belongs to Ash & Elder Apothecary or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.

If you submit reviews, photographs, testimonials or tag us on social media, you grant Ash & Elder Apothecary permission to repost, share or display this content for marketing and promotional purposes.

SHIPPING POLICY

At Ash & Elder Apothecary, all orders are carefully packed and shipped from our small apothecary in the Swedish countryside.
We currently ship within the European Union, as well as to Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Processing Time
Orders are generally prepared and shipped within 2–5 working days.
We currently ship orders twice weekly.
Shipping Within Sweden
Orders within Sweden are shipped with PostNord and usually arrive within 3–5 working days after dispatch.
Shipping Within Europe
Orders elsewhere in Europe are generally shipped with DHL and may take between 1–3 weeks to arrive after dispatch.
Please note that shipping times may vary depending on local postal services, customs or seasonal delays.
Tracking
All orders include tracking.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking link via email.
Lost or Delayed Parcels
If your parcel appears lost or significantly delayed, please contact us at info@ash-elder.com and we will gladly help look into it together.

Non-Returnable Items
Due to hygiene and safety reasons, opened or used skincare products cannot be returned.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at info@ash-elder.com.
We genuinely care about your experience and will always do our best to find a thoughtful and fair solution.
Refund Processing
Refunds are processed once the returned products have arrived and been inspected.
Please allow a few working days for the refund to appear in your account.
